a day late...

So... chillin' with a friend last night (whose name will remain unknown to protect his future love life :-) and he starts ranting about Valentines Day and how ridiculous it is (I tend to agree with him, and if it affects my love life, oh well I guess). He was sayin' that it is absurd how people buy into this marketing scam and pining single women even go out in groups so they can feel better about their lives.

The thing is, we all struggle with loneliness, and to the extent a man can, I feel their pain, but come on, deal with it in a better way. Anyway... all this to pave the way so I can quote my unnamed friend:

"No woman is entitled to be taken out on Valentines Day, it's not like homeless people and a Christmas meal."
